Adolescence is a time for teens to explore who they are as individuals in the world. It is a time of exploration and growth. Teens face unique challenges in today’s fast moving and social media influenced world. Sometimes extra support is needed along the way.

I’ve worked with teens in school and outpatient settings throughout my career. I’m passionate about supporting teens struggling with anxiety, depression, and social challenges.

How I can help

Build emotional insight and learn to respond to emotions in constructive ways

Form healthy coping tools

Develop positive communication strategies

Tap into each teen’s unique strengths to build confidence

My approach with teens is centered in compassion, non-judgement, and empowerment. The following modalities are utilized in my practice: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a trauma-informed lens. I engage youth by utilizing creativity, playfulness, and humor into my work.
